Supporting students’ understanding of calculus concepts: Insights from middle-grades mathematics education research

In this preliminary proposal, we report on results from a paired-student teaching experimentfocused on college calculus students’ developing notions of reversibility and reciprocity throughcompositions and transformations of linear relations.
